How it all started...
Assurance Baptist Church began as a mission church plant of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, Ohio.
Pastor Bryson R. Thompson was trained at Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington, Ohio and ordained publicly before eight pastors and over 400 church members on April 6, 2017.
Pastor Thompson, led by the Holy Spirit, founded Assurance Baptist Church in the northern Montgomery County area (Northmont).
In June of 2018, ABC held its first Bible Study at 105 W. Martindale Road in Union, Ohio with 17 people in attendance. The church began full services on September 9, 2018 at Englewood Elementary School in Englewood, Ohio.
ABC grew and was chartered with 42 members on February 24, 2019. Since then, ABC has seen steady growth.
On June 7, 2020, Assurance Baptist Church was gifted an existing church building and property at 777 E. Trotwood Blvd in Trotwood, Ohio.
