We are Javier and Tiffany Hidalgo, Missionaries to Scotland. If you did not know, Scotland has the fastest growing atheist population in the world right now. Javier Hidalgo
I spent the majority of my life deeply involved in atheism. From participating in protest, and discouraging Christians from believing in God, it was my mission to be as far from God as possible. When I started dating Tiffany, she insisted we attend Church. After visiting churches for almost two years we began attending a Wednesday evening Bible Study. It was this experience that completely changed my life. I attempted to outsmart the Bible Study teacher and by doing so I encountered the Word of God for the first time. Later that week I realized my need for salvation and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. After being discipled we felt the call to missions and followed the Lord in obedience to reach the fastest growing atheist population in the world.

Tiffany Hidalgo
I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age, but I was not discipled. By my teenage years I strayed from the life God wanted for me. I began attending church again when Javier and I started dating. God used this to draw me back to the faith I placed in Christ all those years before. In 2014, in a Sunday Evening service, I rededicated my life to the Lord. Shortly afterwards, Javier told me he accepted Christ as his Savior! We continued to be discipled at our church and it wasn’t long before the Lord began to call me to the missions field. I am excited for the ministry the Lord has for us in Scotland.
